Bras to Wear When You Have a Shallow Bust
Having shallow (or full on bottom) breasts means that you have more tissue on the bottom than on the top. This is also sometimes called a shallow profile. If you're having trouble picturing this, think of it as a ski slope (thinner and flatter on the top, fuller and rounder on the lower half).This shape can make it difficult to find bras that fit properly. If you get a bra with the wrong shape, one of three things is likely to happen.
First, the bra may pucker at the top (because there's too much fabric, and not enough tissue to fill it out).
The second problem is that you'll pop out of the bottom of the cups. The bra will ride up on your chest, and you'll be pretty uncomfortable.
Finally, depending on the bra, you might also pop out of the sides of the cups; in this case there's more breast tissue than fabric, so the bra can't hold your breasts securely.
Bras that Fit Shallow Profile Busts
Fortunately, with a little effort, you can fix these problems. One way to do that is by looking for demi-cup bras. Demi-cup or balcony bras tend to fit shallow profiles better.
They're designed to have more material on the bottom, and come up lower on your chest (so there's less fabric to pucker on the top). As a bonus, they also create a nice decolletage.
Also, avoid bras with horizontal seams. They will cause too much projection and make you look like you are sitting on top of the bra, instead of inside it.
Vertical seams on the other hand, will give you more lift and help fill in for the "missing" tissue on top of your breasts. If you're also east-west, a bra with side slings or boning will help push your tissue out from your arms so everything faces forward, rather than side to side.
Another thing to look for is stretchy material. A bra with stretchy cups or elastic edges will adjust better to fit your shape and hide the lack of upper fullness.
Lastly, if you don't mind padding, that will help push you up and make you look rounder.

Contour Cup Bras for Average Figures and Shallow Profiles
