Having rolls of back fat pushed up under your bra is not anyone's idea of attractive or flattering. It ruins the line of your clothes, and just plain doesn't look good. Fortunately, there are bras that are especially designed to hide back fat and give your clothing a sleek, flattering look.
What's the secret?
The trick to stopping rolls of fat is choosing bras with wider bands and sides (to keep everything pulled in). Also, bras made with power net and stretchy fabric help minimize back fat and make your clothes look better. Some even add elastic along the band to adjust for a custom fit. Look for words such as "smoothing" or "high sides" and fabrics such as "simplex" or "powermesh."
Back fat can be the result of gaining weight or sagging skin caused by loss of elasticity from aging. Some women try to get a larger band size to compensate. This just makes the problem worse because the band will ride up and push up your flesh. It's also uncomfortable, particularly if you're busty, because the band does most of the work supporting your bust. If the band doesn't fit properly, the bra can't support you correctly.
They don't have to be boring either. These bras come in lots of colors and leopard prints. I've labeled each one with the specific size ranges it comes in, as well as the body type the bra will fit best (full figure, average bust/full bust, large band/small bust).
The high sides and back on this bra minimizes bulges and keeps you looking smooth and sleek. The bra is also completely seamless, so nothing will show through thin or clingy tops. The spacer fabric is much lighter than a normal bra, but still provides plenty of support and shaping.
The only decorations are a bit of picot trim along the tops of the cups and the front of the straps, plus a ribbon between the cups.
It's got an arched center panel which is more comfortable if you carry weight in your stomach. The straps are inset close together, so they won't slip (a good thing if your shoulders are narrow). They also adjust along their full length, making it easy to get a more comfortable fit.
Available in white, ivory, sand, taupe, navy, burgundy, and black. Sizes 30D-DDD; 34, 36, 38, 40 C, D, DD, DDD, and G; 42-44C-DDD. (full figure/full bust)
Adorned with Chantilly lace for looks and mesh for superior comfort and support, this bra will lift and smooth you all day long.
The sides and back are high, and made of a mesh material that's great for taming unsightly bumps. Boning on the sides adds additional support and prevents the sides from bulging or rolling over.
It also gives you lots of lift and support, even for heavy breasts (up to a US H cup). The secret is the seaming and the firm fabric, with minimal stretch for greater hold.
The straps are fully adjustable (for a better fit, whether you are tall, short, or somewhere in-between). The leotard back also helps keep the straps from sliding.
There's a leotard back (U-shaped) so the straps won't slip. The band runs a bit small, so keep that in mind.
Black, cappuccino, toast, ivory, gray, red, pale blue, and 8 more fashion colors. US sizes 32D-G, 34D-I, 36, 38, 40 and 43 C-I, 42, 44D-H. (full figure/full bust)
Also comes in a t-shirt version
Embroidered cups topped with lace, plus satiny straps and band gives this bra plenty of good looks. It's a minimizer so it will reduce your projection and help your shirts fit better without button popping or gapping.
The fabric in the band is double-layered to help stop bulges and give you a smoother, more tailored look. A leotard back will keep the straps on your shoulders without slipping.
Since the seams are at an angle, they'll give you a rounder shape, while also providing plenty of lift and support.
Comes in beige, white, black, cranberry, and black/beige. Sizes 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 and 42 C, D, DD, and DDD. (full figure)
The sides and back of this bra are exceptionally tall, so it keeps everything smooth and under cover. You won't pop out of it.
Of course, that also means it's not a good option if you have a short torso. It's got a wide center, with a pretty applique, so it's best if you are wide-set.
The cups are seamless, so it won't show under clothing. It is a contour cup, meaning it is shaped, and a bit thicker than a lace bra would be, but not heavily padded.
Comes in beige, black, white, ivory, violet, navy, walnut, pale green, dotted swiss on tan, medium green, and red. US sizes 36-44 C, D, and DD. (full figure)
If you'd rather not have the wires, try this wirefree version of the Vanity Fair Beauty Back bra higher on the page. It still gives you smoothing coverage and it's lined to be more comfortable.
Because the cups are seamless, they won't show under clothing or thin tops. And, the straps will adjust along their full length so you can get them just the right size.

please show model with some back fat to see if the bra really hides it.
ReplyDeleteHow can it hide something that isn't there?
Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see your message. Bras hide back fat in several ways. The most important thing is to get the right band size (a band that's too large can push your skin up and create bulges). Getting the right size eliminates the bulge.
ReplyDeleteLarger sides and taller backs keep the extra skin/fat from bulging out too. It gets covered and spread out instead of popping out the top or sides and causing problems.
